ABOUT US
Hi, I’m Donnie Vercher and a third generation barbecuing pro. As the youngest of 11 children, I was given the opportunity to soak up my father’s knowledge and to learn my descendants’ traditional techniques.
Now the father of nine children of my own, I plan on keeping the barbecuing tradition for another generation by teaching my sons’ the family history of barbecuing.
Growing up in Lake Charles, LA., I was blessed with loving parents and ten terrific siblings who shared their collection of our family recipes for Daddy D’s home style Southern BBQ. The special spices and barbecue sauce I developed is a savory blend of secret ingredients, which gives our assortment of meats its unbeatable flavor. Now, pair that with one of our delicious side dishes and you’ll have a hearty, Southern Style home cooked meal you won’t find anywhere else.
